GBP/JPY falls to 158.75 after rejecting the 159.30

FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The GBP/JPY's recovery from 158.60 was capped at 159.30 as the pair was rejected at this level and currently it's trading at 158.70.

Getting pressure in the last minutes, the Sterling exchange rate against the Japanese Yen is currently at 158.75, 0.12% negative in the day. The Short term perspective is slightly bearish according to the FXstreet.com trend index in the 1-hour chart.

Indicators such as CCI and Momentum are pointing to the south while the MACD and the Stochastic are neutral in the 60 minutes chart too. The GBP/JPY would face supports at 158.60 (Daily low and 200 hours MA), 158.25 and 157.40. On the upside, the resistances would be at 158.60, 159.55 and 159.90.
