White House Economic Adviser Kudlow: Trump believes in free trade - CNBC

The US President Donald Trump's top economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, during an interview with CNBC talked about the recent hot topic of trade tariffs and said:

   •  Trump believes in free trade
   •  Cannot has been behaving illegally and unfairly
   •  President Trump is not damaging the markets
   •  Trump likely amenable to a coalition to deal with China trade issues
   •  It takes two to play the game and the President has to stick up to the action
   •  There are no tariffs now; the US is considering tariffs.
   •  There are negotiations going on
   •  President Trump is responding to decades of misdeeds by China
   •  There may be other things that can be done beside tariffs
   •  President Trump is a bold guy. Tariffs get your attention.
   •  Doesn't know if US will impose tariffs on China or not, may be settled with negotiations
   •  Technology is the heart of innovated entrepreneurial economy. We can't let China steal our technology.
   •  Good progress is being made on recalibrating NAFTA
