EUR/JPY surrenders daily gains

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/JPY came under pressure and surrendered daily gains as the euro weakened across the board.

After spending previous sessions at 2-week highs around 141.80, the EUR/JPY slid to fresh daily lows at the beginning of the New York session. The EUR/JPY touched a low of 141.40 and is currently trading at 141.45, virtually unchanged on the day.

EUR/JPY levels to watch

In terms of technical levels, the EUR/JPY could find immediate supports at 141.40 (Apr 21 low), 141.12 (50-day SMA) and 141.00 (psychological level). On the flip side, resistances are seen at 141.81 (Apr 21 high), 142.00 (psychological level) and 142.60 (Apr 4 high).

USD/CHF climbs to 0.8850

The USD/CHF broke above 0.8835/40 and rose to 0.8851 hitting the highest price since April 8. Greenback strengthened across the board in the last hour, pushing the USD/CHF to the upside.
